Camnphor is processed into three different grades, white (the lightest and most useful / least toxic), brown and yellow.
We offer the white here as it's the most useful to practitioner and layperson alike.
Best to dilute well.
Chemical constituents: Camphor (Ketone), Safrole (Phenol), Borneol (Alcohol), Camphene (Terpene), Borneo: Borneol (Alcohol), Pinene, Camphene, Dipentene (Terpenes).
Properties: To optimise effective respiration.
Often used in vapour therapy to clear your lungs, calm depression and improve your respiratory system; used in moderation Camphor Essential oil can aid to help treat acne, arthritis, muscular acnes and pains, sprains, colds, fever and infections.
Blends well with: Birch oil blends particularly well with benzoin, jasmine, sandalwood and rosemary
Precautions: Best avoided during pregnancy.
