Baldwins Damar Gum

Depicted as being the best resin for making paints (due to it having little colour and aging well); Damar Gum can also be used to create a removable varnish when dissolved in turpentine.

Allowing you to retouch your varnish without cracking or blooming, this gum can prove an invaluable asset when treating your furniture, especially as it can be added to oils and temperas in this state.

Also enabling you to change and modify your furniture as and when you want, its low melting point makes it easy to handle and allows you to add it to oils and waxes.
