Red clay

Clay is a sedimentary rock of the Silicate family, which results from the decomposition of "Feldspaths" (group of minerals). Its properties and natural colour are derived from the numerous minerals which are present in various proportions.

Mainly containing illite and kaolinite, red clay enjoys this beautiful natural colour thanks to its high ferric oxide content.

It can also be used as a high quality base for customized product development by adding actives, ingredients or effects (heating/cooling), depending on customer requirements.
