Baldwins Remedy Creator - Coconut Milk Digestive Soother

If you’re suffering the effects of digestive problems, you’re probably not alone. All of us at one point or another will have fallen foul of stomach pains, indigestion or heartburn. The good news is that there are a number of natural ingredients which are used far and wide in the battle against dodgy digestion.

So what better way to tackle the problem than to combine a number of these lovely herbs into a delicious drink? The best way to enjoy this concoction is 20 minutes before going to bed, to ensure you get a good night’s rest without any digestive discomfort.

Instructions:

1. Add 440ml Coconut Milk, 1tbsp. of Turmeric powder, 1 tsp. of Ginger root powder and 1/4tsp. of Black Pepper to a saucepan and whisk to combine.

2. Heat over medium heat until it starts to bubble.

3. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Strain out the ginger.

5. Stir 1tbsp. of honey.

6. Serve and enjoy.

7. This serves two, so store the extra in the fridge for the next serving.
