Most people will probably remember magnesium fondly from their school days, when it was set alight with Bunsen burners and put in test tubes. While this is undoubtedly a lot of fun, the bright-burning catalyst is also useful for soothing aching or sore muscles.
Epsom salts are made up of magnesium sulphate, while magnesium oil is made up of magnesium chloride. Because magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant, these two compounds help to pull excess fluids out of the tissues, reducing any swelling.
Instructions:
1. Pour 400ml of the Baldwins Epsom Bath Salts in the tub of warm water.
2. Soak the affected area in the water for 15 minutes, or until the water has cooled.
3. Dry off the skin and then apply 2-3 sprays of magnesium oil to the area
