Baldwins Remedy Creator - Herbal Salve To Reduce Scars

If you suffer from mild, moderate or even extreme scarring anywhere on your body, you don’t need to look to the pharmacy to solve your problems. Many of the best-known creams and ointments for scarring that are found in the shops also happen to contain harsh chemicals, which aren’t healthy for your skin or the environment.

It’s actually easier than you might think to create your own natural product from the comfort of your own kitchen, which can yield comparable results. Just gather a few natural ingredients, follow the steps below, and you’ll never have to visit the pharmacy again.

Due to the natural ingredients, it will have a shelf life of about 1 month. This means you'll avoid all the chemical preservatives used in mass-produced moisturisers.

Instructions:

1. Create the infused oil by combining 2 handfuls of the Baldwins marigold petals and 100ml of refined olive base oil in a bain-marie and applying gentle heat.

2. Keep on heat for a couple of hours ensuring that the oil doesn't get too hot (this will fry the petals).

3. Leave to one side to cool.

4. Now, bring 400ml of water to the boil.

5. Transfer 200ml into a heatproof bowl and with the remaining water, create a bain-marie and place the infused oil and Baldwins beeswax inside.

6. Heat the beeswax until it melts

7. Take off the heat and then stir in 20 drops of the Spike Lavender and 10 drops of the Orange essential oils.

8. Transfer the mixture into the bowl of water you set aside and mix - it should turn creamy very quickly.

9. Leave the cream to set in the jar.
