Baldwins Remedy Creator - Linen Spray

Nothing beats getting into bed after a long tiring day with freshly washed sheets. The only issue is that this sensation lasts only a few brief days before the lovely smell of your laundry detergent begins to weaken. The best way to continue this night-time treat is to create your own linen spray so that you can top up your sheets between washes by giving them a spritz of your own favourite scent.

For this recipe, we’ll create a linen spray using lavender oil as the main scent, however, you can replace this with another scent if you fancy. Lavender oil is known for its calming qualities, which is perfect for reducing anxiety and stress before you go to sleep. Just give your pillow a quick spray with your personalized linen spray before you get into bed and settle down for a night of sweet dreams.

1. Using a funnel, put 30 ml of distilled witch hazel, 85 ml of water and 10 drops of lavender essential oil into a spray bottle, close and shake well together for 20 seconds.

2. Apply to your linen for a perfumed scent boost.
