Baldwins Remedy Creator - Ol’ Fashioned Switchel

Before the days of brightly coloured sports drinks and energy tonics, the mountain folk of America used to rely on a herbal tonic to ease the pain in their joints. A far cry from the chemical-filled offerings of today, the good old fashioned switchel was all they needed to get back on the mend.

This drink uses the healing properties of apple cider vinegar to bring your muscles back to their former glory.

Instructions:

1. Mix 125ml of the Bragg Organic Mother Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 and a half tsp. of Baldwins ginger root powder, and 125ml of honey and water together in a container.

2. Leave to steep for ten minutes.

3. Add 1 litre of tap water and mix until dissolved.

4. Serve either chilled or over ice.
