Christmas Inspiration

Perfect Christmas Gifts from Baldwins

Love it or dread it, Christmas is nearly upon us and with it comes the time when we scratch our heads and try to think up innovative and unusual gifts. It seems to be getting harder and harder to come up with original ideas, so here are some suggestions from Baldwins of more unusual presents to will suit family and friends.

Luxury Cosmetics

There can be few Christmas lists that don’t include someone who absolutely loves being pampered. Baldwins stock a range of products that you won’t find in the average high street shop, many of them organic and all with gorgeous scents. For example, luxury handmade soaps made by The Natural Soap Company in rural Norfolk; the Aubrey Organics range of cosmetics, which include Rosa Mosqueta bath and shower gel with its lovely perfume of geranium and lavender, and the Laughing Bird range, which includes a refreshing foot cream with cooling peppermint, tea tree and juniper.

Books

The best thing about buying a book is that you can find something that’s perfect for almost anyone. If you’ve got a ‘foodie’ in your family, why not buy them the ‘Back to Eden Cook Book’, which is written by a nutritionist and is packed full of practical advice. For vegetarians, ‘Vegetarian Cooking Without’ would make an interesting addition to their kitchen library. For something quite different, and eminently suitable for anyone concerned about their health, ‘The Chemical Maze’ by Bill Statham is a user friendly guide to the additives in cosmetics and food products and states clearly what’s harmful – and why – and what isn’t. Or how about ‘Back to Eden’ by Jethro Kloss. Packed with advice on herbs, nutrition and exercise, this is Baldwins best selling book.

Candles

Aromatherapy products are popular with all sorts of people and often a great choice for the more ‘senior’ members of the family, who can be difficult to buy for. Baldwins sell a huge range of aromatherapy candles with delicious perfumes such as Ylang Ylang, Lemongrass and Geranium, Rosemary, the ever popular Lavender, and lots more. Look at the advice on the Baldwins website to find out which oils will be most suitable, for example for someone who is having difficulty in relaxing Lavender would be a good choice, but for a really uplifting scent try Eucalyptus.

More ideas for Christmas will be published soon, so remember to check back on the site. Or you can call the Baldwins helpline where staff will be pleased to give you further advice and help you choose products. Contact them on 020 7703 5550.
