Once Cacao Beans are ground and milled, their nibs are pressed gently, to separate the butter from the powder and make a paste. Technically an oil, Cacao Butter has a golden-hue when melted at low heat, and hardens into a cream-coloured solid when cooled to room temperature. A perfect ingredient in dessert recipes.
