Palo Santo Wood Sticks (Holy Wood)

The use of Palo Santo dates back to the Inca Era and is traditionally used in South America in a similar way to how Native Americans use the Smudge sticks for cleansing and purifying negative energy and to clear misfortune.

Bursera graveolens, known in spanish as "Palo Santo" (holy wood) is a tree that inhabits the coast of Ecuador. Palosanto has a high concentration of Limonene, a medicinal terpene known to be a strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic agent.

Our Palo Santo is gathered in a sustainable way, that allows traceability from its planting, picking, transformation and commercialization. The collection of this wood is supported by an extensive re-forestation effort in Ecuador to ensure that future generations can enjoy the unique properties of this tree, and protect environment that surrounds them.
