Solaray Nac Plus 600mg 30 Tablets
Solaray Nac Plus 600mg 30 Tablets
N-acetyl l-cysteine (NAC) is an altered form of the amino acid cysteine, which is commonly found in food and synthesised by the body. NAC helps the body synthesise glutathione, an important antioxidant and it also helps break down mucus. Cysteine is a nonessential amino acid (protein building block), which means that it can be made in the human body. Cysteine is one of the few amino acids that contains sulphur. This allows cysteine to bond in a special way and maintain the structure of proteins in the body. Cysteine can also be converted into glucose and used as a source of energy. It also strengthens the protective lining of the stomach and intestines. This formulation contains Molybdenum, which is an essential trace mineral needed for the proper function of certain enzyme-dependent processes and Vitamin B2, a water-soluble vitamin needed to process amino acids and fats.
