Pycnogenol has been shown to be 50 times more effective than vitamin E and 20 times more active than vitamin C as a free radical scavenger. Grape seed extract offers similar properties to Pycnogenol to enhance the formula. Viridian chooses to use Pycnogenol, which is a patented form of pine bark extract, to guarantee purity.

This combination of bioflavonoids offers excellent skin supporting benefits by aiding in the maintenance of collagen integrity. Grape seed extract offers complementary properties to Pycnogenol® to enhance the formula.
